In 56 days the first group of artists will travel to France for our art adventure.
Plans are shaping up. Plane tickets are purchased. Our travel agent, Stephanie Ellis from Travel Girl is busy lining up reservations for the train, rental vehicles, and museum visits. A big shout out to Stephanie!
Today I would have to say I am "over the moon!" I just heard back from a very talented French artist, Isobel Violette, that we can visit her studio and hear her share about her art while we are visiting the village of Fresslines. It was a hope of mine that our group would be able to have time with a French artist and VOILA!! it is happening! You can read a bit about her, in French. Just use google translate.

Isabelle Violette
Monet spent the spring of 1889 painting the landscape around the confluence of two rivers, in the Petite Creuse and the Grande Creuse, at the village of Fresselines in central France. This paintings is at the Met.

On our day visit to Fresslines, along with our time with Isabelle Violette, we will visit the Espace Monet - Rolinat museum. https://sites-valleedespeintres.com/espace-monet-rollinat-expositions-carte-blanche-centre-art/, the Cafe des Artists and hopefully have time for some plein air painting.
